Caroling on the 7th Floor + Christmas Dinner
It was two days shy of our 2-week break.
Christmas was just around the corner.
Apart from the fabulous Christmas decorations that flooded the 7th floor (courtesy of the Social Committee, deco was headed by Guat Lee!), we needed the Christmas spirit to come alive...
A caroling team was formed, led by our experienced choir instructor, Chiam or better known as Dylan. Despite having very minimal practice, everyone enjoyed themselves and Daniel's guitaring really got us into gear! The Law Society also felt very touched by the response of the students and lecturers in wearing red attire. What else can we say -- it was absolutely Christmas-y! During our rounds of caroling, Ms. Vasantha and Ms. Nalina did not miss out as well; we were honoured with a couple of stints from them! The team sailed everyone's ears to songs like "White Christmas", "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bell Rock" (reminds you of those Home Alone movies, eh?).
The second Christmas activity was dinner at Red House, KL which was emceed by two very outgoing Law Society members -- Chen and Shaleni! We were bombarded with delicious food, performances by the ExCo and performances by Daniel's bandmates, Joe (who's great on electric guitar!) and Tideon (who volunteered to sing despite being a non-HELP student). While embracing on good food, we played games like "pass the box" and charades, organised by Sarah. It was a time to bond and laugh the night away while the holiday awaited us. Thank you Wilson, Venon and Su Enn for the night's magnificent dinner! A standing ovation to ALL of those who made the dinner possible!!!
