Calling All Artists: We Need a Society Logo

Friends of the Law Society,

Hold your breath - there are some amazing updates coming up.

• The Law Gym Committee has been formed with second-year Rishi at the forefront. More treadmills and less weights, bicycle or stairs, showers and changing rooms? The committee will be submitting a proposal to the Executive Board on Monday. Give your opinions soon then get ready to run with a 7th floor view!
  
• The Board has decided to order I Heart Law t-shirts in bigger bulk is to keep prices low for you! So do us a favor and say if you prefer black or white shirts before we order 500 of them! The second round of price quotes will be in by Sunday. Ladies, we are looking into "baby-t" sizes for you.
  
• Contacts have been made to get a printer into our lab. See, that was fast wasn't it?

Presidential Update:

• CRITICAL IMPORTANCE: We need a logo. It will be used on all letterheads, on banners, business cards, stamps and the list just goes on. Be a part of history and release your inner artist! Google Image "law society logo" for inspiration, but we want something entirely ours!
  
• HELP Community: I now have the contact information for the A-Level President, Divya Chandran. Look out for amazing co-sponsored events soon. A-Level students have started to visit the blog, too. *waves to A-Level students reading*
• Law Society Subcommittees: instead of meeting in the cramped Moot Court or whatnot, check out the 4th floor meeting room. Mr. Amir can pull the necessary strings to get you in.
• Everyone: If you have ideas for any events in the upcoming year, make them known before Wednesday! The faculty advisors will be presenting the Board with their calendar of annual events.

Do you want to go out on a date - - - with the Editorial Board?

• Dinner and a movie, October 12. Mid Valley. We will be doing a movie review of "World Trade Center." Leave a comment if you want further details. There are already 27 confirmed going, so be there!
