Together We Have Helped, Together We Shall Give
Friends of the Law Society, Updates below in red 27/2.

This afternoon we connected the people with the purpose. Team members, volunteers and law department supporters were all in attendance to watch the handing over of our donation check to MERCY Malaysia to thunderous applause. The audience members will never know how much heart each of you put in, but I hope the few words I could say today gave them just a hint of how much love you have in your hearts!
MERCY Malaysia had nothing but the warmest words for us. A lot of people are proud of what we have done. Can you believe it? RM4,339 raised on a budget of RM0? It's phenomenal! Do you know what else is phenomenal? The support we received today.
Check out the pictures here. Scroll to the bottom.
And happy birthday, Dr. Paul Chan! Thank you for your entirely memorable words today.
Love the law,
Michelle

This Monday marks the date when we will pass our donation check of RM3624 to MERCY Malaysia. We will do so alongside HELP University College, who as a community, was also able to raise significant funds for flood relief amounting to about RM5,000.
The law department, the teams, the volunteers, the sponsors, all are kindly invited and warmly encouraged to attend. This could not have happened without you, remember!
The ceremony will be held in conjunction with HELP's Staff Chinese New Year gathering. The Chans, heads-of-departments, lecturers, staff and other luminaries will be there to celebrate our achievement for the flood victims.
Please do join us! We have also been invited to EAT THE FOOD and watch the lion dance, etc.
It would mean so much to me to have all of you there to support! I can't do this alone : )
Love the Law,
Michelle

- Mr. Peter of Bursary worked a miracle for me and issued our check to MERCY Malaysia in HOURS when it would usually take three days! My heart sings for you!
- Mr. Xavier of Sports Plaza came to our ceremony and he left these amazing flyers with me for REALLY CHEAP HOURS at Sports Plaza! ALL COURTS: Monday RM 20 before 6 pm, Tuesday-Thursday RM 40 before 6 pm! Now don't skip class!
- Mr. Tang of FIGOS has provided us with a breathtaking crystal and gold trophy. It is to be used for a charity tournament each year. It is absolutely gorgeous...see the pictures!
- Ms. Sharon of Human Resources provided me with everything I needed to run the ceremony smoothly!
- Everyone that stayed back later...and later...and later to support me and the ceremony. I cannot tell you how much each minute, each second of your time I cherish. If I could give you each a rainbow, I would! Ms. Vasantha deserves special mention because not only did she excuse all of the volunteers and teams to attend the ceremony, she is terribly sick and was supposed to be admitted to the hospital! She delayed her visit so she could be there for us. If you do not know what love is, this is it! Thank you, Mr. Kitson for bringing your entire tutorial over as well! Non-law shoutouts to Davin and friends from Soul Survivor and Estella, and Jonathan, manager of Pompeii FC and Silent Punishers for sticking it out since THREE PM. We also had representation from January intake, CAPARO, AQ, Usi Malai Doko FC, and JUMBO.
