I am so proud of the community we have been able to strengthen, within our department, within HELP and within our local community.

VALENTINES DAY - "SPREAD THE LOVE" - A SUCCESS!

• The Charity subcommittee deserves special commendation for raising RM950 for Agathian's Shelter! That money came from YOU, the loving department, who supported via the beautiful Valentines Day roses and brownie sales! Warm hugs and shining smiles go out to Shivreena, Yi Ling, Kelly, Alfred, Lavin, Albert, Vishal and Prashant for all their hard work in decorating the halls so beautifully and selling/delivering/preparing the roses and brownies!

• Each heart hanging in the hallway was cut out by hand with love! Check out a few pictures here. Does anyone else have a clearer shot of the beautiful banner the children of the shelter made for us?

CHINESE NEW YEAR PARTY A TANGERINE-SWEET SUCCESS!

• Congratulations to the Social subcommittee for an entirely memorable Chinese New Year celebration! A huge shoutout to Kirsty and Hui Lynn for MC'ing, planning and executing such a fabulous event. The Social Subcommittee is vibrant and alive - - join them next for the SLAVE AUCTION on FEBRUARY 28th!

MANDARIN ORANGES, the newspaper game, the family game (complete with superstrongmen), the most massive game of musical-GONGXIFACHAI!!!-chairs EVER, gorgeous calligraphy writing and Chinese karaoke!

I am crying inside because I forgot my camera today! For all of the 60 of you that made it out (WOW! THAT WAS AMAZING!) thank you for your time, your energy and your laughter! I went home with all of your smiles trapped inside my heart.

Thank you Peter and Aric for moving all the chairs and tables. Thank you to those who helped us put them back! That is community, right there.

• Auditions for entertainment and models are soon (check out the poster in front of the counseling room in the office), so polish up your acts/walk!
• Do you know a company that may be interested in sponsoring our Ball? We are still open to additional sponsorship.
• We have sold our tables at record speed - - so fast, we may even need to request more! If you want to start buying INDIVIDUAL TICKETS, let me know. Now open to all departments!
